AWS Compass: Auto-group your AWS console tabs by region
AWS Compass is a free Chrome add-on developed by jdhayford that aims to simplify the navigation and organization of the AWS Console. This tool automatically forms tab groups for your AWS Console tabs based on the Region, helping you keep track of your current working area.
Navigating through the AWS Console can sometimes be overwhelming, and losing track of the region you are working in can lead to costly mistakes or frustration. With AWS Compass, you no longer have to worry about manually organizing your tabs or forgetting which region you are in.
AWS Compass is simple to use and seamlessly integrates with your Chrome browser. It automatically groups your AWS Console tabs based on the region you are working in, providing a clear and organized view of your AWS resources. This add-on is particularly useful for users who frequently switch between different AWS regions.
Please note that if you want tab group titles and consistent colors, it is recommended to update your Chrome browser to version ~89. Updating Chrome can be done by checking the "chrome://settings/help" URL.
